Artist Studio Visitors FAQS

1. What are the dates for the Artist Studio section of the festival?
The Open Studio Tour will take place on the final weekend of the festival, from Saturday, September 27, to Sunday, September 28, 2025.

 

2. Where is the Artist Studio Tour located?
The tour runs along the scenic stretch of Highway 19a, from Dashwood to Union Bay, on Vancouver Island. Each participating artist will open their private studio to visitors during the event.

 

3. How many artists are participating in the Open Studio Tour?
This year, over 30 talented artists will open their studios to the public, showcasing a wide variety of art forms.

 

4. What types of art can I expect to see?
The tour features diverse art forms, including painting, sculpture, ceramics, glass art, textiles, jewelry, photography, and mixed media.

 

5. How can I get a map of the participating studios?
Maps and detailed information about the artists and their studio locations will be available on the Route 19a Arts Festival website and at local information centers closer to the event date.

 

6. Is there an admission fee for the Artist Studio Tour?
No, the Open Studio Tour is free to attend.
