Landscape Artist of the Festival
Preliminary Heats
Saturday, September 12

First Heat: 10:30 am – 12:30 pm
Second Heat: 1:30 pm – 3:30 pm

In each heat, 6 artists are randomly selected to participate

Artists choose from a collection of locally produced landscape photographs by local photographers
-
Photos may be reproduced directly or used as inspiration
-
Artists have 2 hours to complete their painting
-
The public is encouraged to watch the artists work throughout each heat

Public Voting
-
Each artist will have a voting box at their painting station
-
Audience members may cast one vote per person, per heat for their favourite artist

Sunday Voting & Finals – September 13
-
All 12 preliminary paintings will be displayed on the gallery walls Sunday morning
-
Public voting continues until 12:00 noon
-
At noon, votes are tallied and the top 4 artists advance
​
Final Round
-
Sunday afternoon, the top 4 artists select new photos and compete live for the title
-
Winners are determined by public vote
​
Awards – Announced at Exhibition Close
Sunday, September 13 at 4:00 pm

It will ask you to register with Entrything. This is so you can go back to chang your entries as needed.
