Fine Art Exhibition Artists
​What is the format of the juried fine art exhibition?
The juried fine art exhibition will feature 22 artists at the Lighthouse Community Centre, September 13th & 14th, 2025. Artists will have a dedicated display booth space to showcase their work. The booths will be 10' x 10' and will include a black curtain 'pipe & drape' back-drop. Tables (6'& 8') and chairs available on request. Accepted artists will need to supply, set up and take down all materials necessary to display their work and are required to be present or have a representative with their booth for the full exhibition dates & times.

How do I apply to participate?
Call for artists will open on Mar 15 and close at midnight on June 15.

How are the artists selected?
Selection for the juried exhibition is based on artistic quality, originality, and alignment with the festival's theme and standards. A panel of experienced jurors will review all submissions.

IMPORTANT DATES for the Fine Art Exhibition:

Can I sell my artwork at the exhibition?
Yes, sales are encouraged. Artists will handle their own transactions, and no commission will be taken by the festival.

Artist Studio Tour Artists
What are the requirements for the Open Studio Tour?
Artists participating in the Open Studio Tour must have a private art studio located within the Dashwood to Union Bay region along or near Route 19a (Island Hwy W.) Studios must be open to the public during the final weekend of the festival (September 27-28, 2025).

Will promotional materials be provided for the Open Studio Tour?
Yes, the festival will provide a printed map, signage, and digital promotion along with social media, radio spots and local news coverage for participating studios.
​
Can I participate in both the Ehibition and the Open Studio Tour?
Absolutely! Artists are welcome to participate in both events if they meet the criteria for each.
