Wendy Adams

Handmade flame-worked glass bead jewellery
Wendy's beads are made by melting Italian glass rods over a220f propane/oxygen flame.The molten glass is then wound onto a stainless steel rod called a mandrel.By using heat and gravity and a variety of tools, a bead is born! Wendy then anneals the beads in a kiln to remove any stresses from the glass thus strengthening them; making them more durable. Wendy's specialty is Memorial Beads where she incorporates the ashes of a loved one/pet into the bead making process to create a lasting memorial keepsake.

I have created a unique style of glass art. I incorporate stained glass, fine china, crystalware, beach glass, and filigree. I create residential and commercial lighting as well as window panels. My Sentimental Gifts include an attach card with sentiments of positive well being and are the perfect gift for yourself or your loved one. I also open my studio for teaching stained glass workshops and mosaic. The small classes are a fun expressive, experience exploring, playing and learning the craft I am so passionate about.
