  • What is the Route 19a Arts Festival?

    • 16 DAYS OF GREAT LOCAL VISUAL & PERFORMING ARTS

    • Route 19A Arts Festival is an exciting celebration of creativity, culture, and community, set against the scenic backdrop of Route 19A (Island Hwy W) from Dashwood to Union Bay.
      This annual event brings together artists, musicians, performers, and audiences from across the region for a vibrant showcase of talent and a memorable experience for all involved. 

  • What are the Festival Highlights? 

    • Juried Fine Art Exhibition: Sept 13-14, 2025, featuring 22 artists at the Lighthouse Community Centre.

    • Performing Arts Shows: Sept 15-26, 2025, hosted in intimate venues along Route 19A, culminating in a large-scale performance for 250 people.

    • Open Studio Tour: Final weekend (Sept 27-28, 2025), showcasing 30 private art studios from Dashwood to Union Bay.

  • What is the Festival's main affiliation?

    • The Route 19a Arts Festival is a program of the Lighthouse Community Hall in Qualicum Bay..

    • We are a BC registered society and a registered charity.
      We can issue tax receipts for donations over $20.
