Call for Artists

with Studios Along Route 19A

Union Bay, Fanny Bay, Deep Bay,

Bowser, Qualicum Bay & Dashwood

on Vancouver  Island  BC.

Thank you for your interest in participating in the 2026 Artists Studio Tour. This event is 100% artist lead, promoted and coordinated by volunteer efforts. This 2-day event is intended to celebrate and promote local creatives, working/residing in the mid-island area of Vancouver Island From Dashwood to Union Bay.

The Studio Tour is open to all Artistic creatives with the exception of food or ‘craft fair’ products, (ie, Soap, Jams and the like).  Participants of the studio tour will not be juried, however, they will be highly critiqued. Art of many mediums will be promoted. The art must be hand-crafted, original design, and withing 2 km of Hwy 19A.

The application fee for the Studio Tour is $80 per artist. If you don’t have a studio, we will do our best to pair you with an artist who is willing to share their space. Additional artists sharing a studio space pay a fee of $50.

Fees are due upon acceptance, with letters going out after July 1. All applications must be received by midnight on June 15th.

Once artists are accepted, additional information will be provided. A printed tour map will include studio locations, artist names, and a sample image of what visitors can expect at each stop.

Now in its third year, the Art Exhibition and Studio Tour continues to grow—more artists, more sponsors, and even more promotion than ever before!

If you wish to apply for the Juried Fine Art Exhibition, which will be held at the Lighthouse Community Center on September 12th and 13th…please go to  route19a.com/exhibition

**  $25 Deposit is required for directional signs

** Any additional artists participating without a studio must also fill in an application and ask for a location to share with another studio.
